Love Island USA Season 6 may be over, but at least we have some upcoming reunion drama to look forward to before we say goodbye forever. OG Islanders Serena Page and Kordell Beckham ended up winning this season of the show. And while fans couldn’t help but root for them throughout the ups and downs of their relationship, no other OG couple got quite the same response.
Keylor Martin and Aaron Evans They were linked from day one on Love Island USA. Their relationship was far from easy – Kaylor cried almost every day for one reason or another. Meanwhile, Aaron seemed determined to jeopardize his relationship with Kaylor by acting as bad as possible at Casa Amor. Now that the islanders are out of the villa and back in the real world, it’s not easy for everyone to spend their time in Fiji.
Aaron understands his mistakes.
Aaron and Keelor appeared on the BFFs podcast to discuss the state of their relationship. It wasn’t easy for them to rewatch their Love Island USA experience on TV. “I was literally watching it and I was like, ‘Who is this guy who can’t keep his mouth shut? I just want to jump across the screen and punch him in the face. He’s such an idiot,'” Aaron said. Literally, that’s how most of us reacted while watching season six.
Overall, Aaron understands why he received so much criticism from fans who watched the show in real time. “I was watching it and I was like, ‘This is so bad. I’m the biggest idiot that ever walked the planet. I was just as disappointed as anyone, trust me,’” Aaron continued.
It doesn’t seem to have been easy for Kaylor either. While she’s still following through with Aaron, she’s taking a step back from moving their relationship full speed ahead. However, Aaron is determined to make amends and regain Kaylor’s trust. “I understand why she’s suspicious, I understand why she has trust issues, I understand why all of America doesn’t like me because I don’t even like myself, and watching everything that happened, I hated watching everything that happened.” [those] “The clips go back,” Aaron continued. “So I totally understand how and why you feel the way you do.”
