Lizzo breaks down what she eats in a day amid a major lifestyle change

Lizzo She opens up about the diet behind her healthy transformation.

The 36-year-old detailed her daily meal plan “as a former vegan who has added protein to her diet.”

The “Good as Hell” singer noted that after trying a vegan diet, she modified her diet to include animal proteins after discovering a new cultural approach to eating.

“Someone suggested that I try the Japanese diet because it is one of the healthiest diets in the world and contains some of my favorite foods,” Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jeffersonexplained in an October 10 video on Instagram. “After testing and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight, and helped me get rid of mental fogginess.”

While her current diet includes proteins and animal products, Lizzo said she hopes to modify that one day.

“I aspire to one day become a raw, alkaline vegan,” she explained. “Until then, this is the diet that has helped me achieve my goals and helped me feel great in my body.”
