According to The US Sun, Ezwin Rolando Pollux Tax became an employee of Lisa’s charity in May 2017. His position was a full-time job, earning $12.50 an hour. As for his job responsibilities, Ezwin served on Lisa’s cleaning crew. However, Ezwin claimed that his work environment was a stress cooker, as he “wasn’t paid the right amount of wages and overtime.”

“The plaintiff’s meals were interrupted when an errand arose that the defendants wanted him to attend. Each meal interruption should be treated as a missed meal and he should therefore be compensated for it.” [re]“He was compensated for his hourly work,” his lawsuit states. Unfortunately for LVP, his organization failed to respond to the lawsuit within the time frame required. As such, Judge David Sotelo awarded Ezwin $213,143 in damages, $21,234 in interest, $11,085 in attorneys’ fees, and $915 in court costs.

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was able to get this ruling overturned. Their representatives were confused. [allegedly] They sent their legal documents “to a random address in another city.”

This response led to a recent mediation between Eswin and the foundation. Following this mediation, the case is now headed for dismissal. The two parties have reached a settlement agreement, which leads to another lawsuit that has ended with Bravo. As for the amount Eswin received, the court filings do not mention it.

Unfortunately, Lisa still has several other lawsuits to answer. Therefore, Lisa may have to head to court at some point in the future. Unless she can settle these additional lawsuits as well.

Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are streaming on Peacock.
