Lisa Hochstein is accused of abuse and defamation by her ex Lenny

The Real Housewives of Miami star and her ex-husband have been waging a war over their divorce since 2022. This split has to be one of the most bitter in Bravo history.
In November 2023, Lisa shared a photo of her bruised arm on her Instagram Story. She seemed to imply that Lenny abused her. “I didn’t want to share this, but I had no choice,” she captioned the photo. “I am being harassed through the court system and through ‘others’ by Lenny and it has to stop.”
Well, Lenny’s response was to file a defamation suit against Lisa. In the lawsuit, Lenny is seeking compensation of up to $100,000 and his attorney’s fees. He claimed in court papers that Lisa sustained the bruise when she “lost her balance” on the stairs. Now Lenny has come out with some amazing accusations against Lisa.
Lenny accuses Lisa of hitting him
US Weekly obtained court documents filed on May 17 as an addition to Lenny’s defamation lawsuit. In them, the plastic surgeon accused Lisa of abuse. He claimed that Lisa “constantly hit him” during their marriage.
“There are too many times over the course of the marriage to list every instance of physical abuse before,” the documents state [Lisa] against [Lenny] …However, to be clear, at no point did that happen [Lenny] Never hit or reply to [Lisa] or pay or attempt any bodily harm [Lisa] Any way.” The alleged abuse was one of the “reasons” that prompted Lenny to “initiate divorce proceedings.” I’m sure his mistress, Catharina Mazepa, was another factor.
Meanwhile, Lenny spoke with US Weekly about the recent legal allegations. “That’s the truth of the matter. I never hit her, and she hit me countless times. All she accused me of was her behavior, not mine,” Lenny said.
He also explained that he never felt in danger from Lisa. “Lisa 100 pounds. She never hurt me,” Lenny explained. “I never felt like she was hurting me or that I was someone who was being abused. The only way she hurt me was by the things she said, and didn’t do.
Lisa’s lawyer, Matthew Moore, then responded to Lenny’s accusations. “Mr. Attorney stated that Hochstein’s claims are baseless, and we plan to prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit.
The RHOM exes’ next hearing is set for May 30.
