Lindsay Hubbard’s new boyfriend is an ex-partner
it turns out Lindsey Hubbard The new guy isn’t exactly a new guy. It’s a blast from the past, and she gives him a second chance at love. It can’t be worse than her last relationship, right?
The Summer House star opened up about her new romance during an episode of the Bitch Bible podcast. She dives into how they met, what went wrong the first time, and why she thinks the second time will be different.
Second time’s the charm
“He’s great. I actually met him and went out with him three-and-a-half years ago. “Some of my friends call it ‘the boomerang’, where you go out the first time, and the timing isn’t right, and then they come back again. So, that’s basically what happened.”
According to Lindsay, she first met this new guy in 2020. Coronavirus was raging, but she somehow found time between lockdowns to go on a few dates with this guy. She said he was trying to figure out his “career moves.” The timing was off and he ended up cutting things off.
“It was the sweetest text ever because most guys scare you off, or they disappear, or they disappear or whatever,” Lindsay recalls. “He didn’t do any of that.”
She continued, “At the time, he was like, ‘Hey, I’m not in a place where I can be into anything serious.’ He was like, ‘I have a feeling that maybe you want something more,’ and he was like, ‘And I’m not there right now.'” And I I don’t want to waste your time, and out of respect for you, I felt like I needed to tell you.
Based on this script alone, this guy looks like a class act. When he returned to her in December 2023, she couldn’t resist giving him another chance. They hit it off, and the rest is history.
When describing her new boyfriend, Lindsay said he makes her “happy in the bedroom” and has a “great job”. It checks all the boxes. Better yet, he’s never watched an episode of Summer House, which she says is completely “off-key” in her reality TV career.
“He never watched the show,” Lindsay revealed. “It’s really refreshing.”
