Lindsay Hubbard Defends Filming Summer House While Pregnant
Lindsay Hubbard She announced her pregnancy publicly over the Fourth of July weekend. After putting all the rumors aside, she announced summer house The star confirmed that she is expecting her baby in the holiday season of 2024. However, some people responded to the news in a rather strange way.
Just days before the pregnancy, Bravo confirmed that Lindsay would be returning for Season 9 of Summer House. Some people objected to Lindsay trying to participate in the show while pregnant.
However, Lindsay stood firm in the face of criticism, and had ready responses to her critics.
Lindsay is fully planning to party while pregnant.
On July 14, Lindsay posted an Instagram post that caused quite a stir among people. The photo was just a regular pregnancy update photo — a mirror selfie. She captioned the post, “The belly was swollen.. the baby was tiny!” However, a large number of commenters thought her pregnancy might interfere with her plans to appear on the upcoming season of Summer House.
“Respectfully, not sure why you’d go back to a party house?” one commenter wrote. “You’re in a different era, sis.” Lindsay responded, “Can you not party when you’re pregnant?” However, another commenter shared similar sentiments: “It shouldn’t be a summer house. It doesn’t make sense with all the crazy parties.”
Lindsay didn’t hesitate to reply: “At your age, there’s no point in commenting on younger girls.” [sic] Fortunately, many other commenters were supportive of Lindsay. One reminded Instagram users that pregnant women don’t tend to sit at home and do nothing for nine months.
Another commenter chimed in with his confusion. “I’ve never seen so many people ask how a pregnant woman can go on a weekend getaway with her friends while baking baby food… what year is this?” Some of the sentiments seemed a bit reactionary. Lindsay seems to be taking her pregnancy seriously.
Summer House is currently streaming on Peacock, with season 9 expected to release in early 2025.
