Lala Kent denies trying to join and promote The Valley

With Vanderpump Rules on hiatus, rumors have spread that some of the cast are trying to cross over to the valley. In particular, we heard that Lala Kent He was already in early talks with The Valley’s casting team before VPR’s Season 11 finished airing. She had already bought a house in the neighborhood, so it seemed like a natural fit for her.

After watching the Season 11 reunion, it seemed even more believable that Lala might be ready to make that leap. She said she just wanted to go “bake a baby” in peace. A place in The Valley might be the perfect place for this, but Lala recently claimed that there is no truth to the rumours. According to her, she did not campaign to get into the VPR spin-off.

Setting things right

Lala got real about the rumors started by The Valley during a recent episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala. She explained that the only reason she bought a house in the Valley was because it was what she could afford. It wasn’t an attempt to try to force her way onto a different show.

“I haven’t had any conversations about entering the valley,” Lala explained. “I had no idea about going to the valley.” Um, really a girl? This hypocrisy is wild, isn’t it?

“When you’re ready to be a homeowner and make what I or my friends make, you move to the Valley. That’s just what you do,” she continued.

Meanwhile, showrunner Alex Baskin said they have not scouted a VPR crew for The Valley. He explained in an interview why they didn’t need anyone else to make the second season a success.

He stressed: “I know there is a lot of speculation about that [Pump Rules] They’re moving to The Valley, but the cast is pretty full now.

So, there’s no place for Lala in The Valley, but could it be that she’s trying to get her own show? There were also rumors that she was trying to pitch a series specifically centered around her life. Imagine an entire show about Lauren from Utah. Fortunately, she told her listeners that’s not true either.

“I have never done a spin-off about my life,” Lala asserted.

For now, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see if Lala will return to Vanderpump Rules for Season 12. And even that is still up in the air. Insiders close to the show said no casting decisions have been made.
