Lala Kent defends Vanderpump Rules season 11 ‘storyline’

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules It may be over, however Lala Kent He still lives it. On her podcast, Give Them Lala, she talked about all the feedback she received for this season. In particular, Lala seemed frustrated with fans saying she didn’t have a story this year. According to her, she didn’t have much choice.

Living in the shadow of scandal

Obviously, most of Pump Rules Season 11 revolves around Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix trying to recover from their devastating breakup. According to Lala, the rest of the cast’s personal storylines were put aside to make room for Scandoval. So, she doesn’t want to hear criticism from fans who say she doesn’t have a story in Season 11.

“This season was very difficult. None of us were really able to get a story going,” Lala claimed. “We had to talk about it.” [Scandoval]. It wasn’t even a split in the group. “This brought down the group.”

Lala claimed that she and her co-stars tried to “get over” the talk about Tom and Ariana, but producers made it difficult. Eventually, we saw other stories unfold like Lala navigating her pregnancy journey and Ariana working with Katie Maloney to start their sandwich shop. However, Lala felt that it was almost impossible for anyone to have a standalone story when all roads led back to Tom.

“Unfortunately, something Tom Sandoval did destroyed the group dynamic. Unfortunately, and fortunately, we’re filming a TV show based on this group. There was no escaping the conversation,” Lala explained.

“I would also like to move on,” she continued. Many of us wanted to move on. We tried to move the needle. it was hard. And I think most people wouldn’t understand that because they’re not filming a show. Their lives are not a show.”

With that in mind, it certainly makes sense that the Vanderpump Rules producers decided to take a short hiatus from filming. The show will return in one form or another, but it’s not clear which cast members will return for Season 12. Either way, some time away from the cameras should help everyone rebuild their “stories.”
