Kyle Richards Moves ‘Behind the Camera’ for Upcoming TV Project

The actress and reality TV star just announced that she’s shifting her focus to working behind the camera. After her long career in front of the camera, can you blame her?

Kyle Richards Enters the Production Era Again

Kyle opened up about her future non-Housewives projects during a recent Amazon Live. While she was supposed to be promoting random Amazon products that represented her “Labor Day picks,” fans flooded the comments section asking her what’s going on in her life. At the time, she opened up about her upcoming projects, where she will be serving as a producer.

“I just sold two projects — TV shows that I was going to executive produce and I’m working on now, so it’s fun for me to do things behind the camera,” Kyle said during the livestream.

“I’ll probably be in front of the camera on one of these movies, too,” Kyle continued. “But I really like being behind the camera a lot.”

Kyle hasn’t revealed many other details about upcoming projects, but her RHOBH co-star Garcelle Beauvais has been producing films for Lifetime. The network has been working with a slew of Bravolebrities lately, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Kyle in the mix as well. We’ll see.

Of course, this isn’t Kyle’s first foray into producing. She served as executive producer on American Woman, a series loosely inspired by her mother’s life. That ran for one season, but the animosity it created between her sisters lasted for years. Hopefully, these upcoming projects won’t cause another family crisis.
