She failed the Baby Bar exam – which means completing the first year of study for students taking non-credit law courses – three times before passing it in 2021.

“Know that this has not been easy or easy for me,” she wrote in a December 2021 Instagram post. “In California, the way I study law is you need to pass two bar exams. This was just the first but with a harder pass rate. I’ve been told by senior lawyers that this was a near impossible and harder journey than the first exam.
