Kevin Jonas shares his skin cancer diagnosis

the Jonas Brothers The member indicated that he was diagnosed with skin cancer after discovering a malignant mole on his forehead.

“So today, I will have basal cell carcinoma removed from my head,” he explained in a video shared on his Instagram account on June 11.

Basal cell carcinoma is a type of skin cancer that “most often occurs in areas of skin exposed to the sun, such as the head and neck,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

In the video, Kevin can be seen directing his gaze to a small mole and explaining, “Yes, this is a little guy with skin cancer that is just starting to grow. And now, I have to have surgery to remove it. So, here we go.”

The “Waffle House” singer did not give his followers a final look at the mole after surgery, but he seemed shocked by what he saw under the bandages.
