Katie spoke about her new boyfriend during the latest episode of her podcast. She said she was “in love” but did not share any details about his identity. Instead, she joked that he “travels for work.” Rock stars call that tour.
“He makes me feel really special, and he’s really special,” Katie gushed during the podcast.
Thanks to Page Six, we now know that Nick is her special someone. According to the outlet, they met through mutual friends in the music industry and bonded over their businesses. She has a thing about her, and he has a coffee company called Charlie Royal.
“Katie loves the emo music scene and has been a fan and friend of Nick’s band for some time,” an insider said.
The source also revealed that Katie and Nick started out as friends, but things started blossoming into a romance earlier this summer. However, here’s where it gets messy. Nick is still in the midst of an “acrimonious divorce” from his ex-wife, Gina Martin, so he and Katie wanted to keep their romance “secret.”
Nick and Jenna have been married since 2016. There’s no word on when things went downhill for them, but the divorce clearly didn’t stop Nick from pursuing Katie. So, not only can they bond over their business, they can also bond over their divorce as well.
