Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac It took off shortly after Karen Huger DUI. Initially, the eldest woman claimed she hit her Maserati because she was crying. Unfortunately for Karen, the police came to a different conclusion. In the end, she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
Karen Huger calls DUI experience ‘traumatic’
Shortly after her arrest, Karen discussed her DUI and filming for RHOP. “First and foremost, I come from a place of gratitude,” Karen said. “I was happy no one was hurt. No one else was involved,” she added. “I was just grateful to be alive, and I’m still in that place of gratitude.”
Of course, everyone wanted to have tea about Karen’s DUI. Ashley Darby was concerned because this was Karen’s second DUI. This fact still shocks me. While Karen remained silent, the ladies chatted at Karen’s birthday lunch, “hattitude.” For some reason, Jacqueline Blake claimed that Karen called her and that she sounded “drunk.”
Recently, Karen was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen wasted no time diving in. “We were just talking backstage, and I know you just watched the episode for the first time. “I know it’s been a difficult hour for you,” Andy said. “Was there anything specific…did it take you back to that time? Or was anything said that upset you?”
So, Karen discussed the reenactment that opened the season 9 premiere of RHOP. “It took me back to that time and it still continues. “It was very painful to watch because I lived in it and it was eerily close to it except for the deer,” Karen explained. “No deer.”
Karen responded to Ashley and Jacqueline
But Andy is not a quitter. “And did anything the women say on camera bother you?” he asked. “Absolutely,” said the older woman. “I mean, you know, I care about these women and all I wanted them to do was be patient and wait because it’s an ongoing issue.”
She continued: “But, you know, Ashley is saying what she said, and let’s be clear. Ashley should be concerned about her relationship with alcohol. “The way Corona sucks, I’m just saying,” Karen added. “Wow. Karen’s deflection skills are strong.
“And then, you know, Jacqueline… I don’t know Jacqueline that way, so I’ll never call her a friend. I’ll call Jeezy [Gizelle Bryant]”Okay?” she added. “It’s very painful and no one…again, it’s still going on.”
Andy then asked Karen if the legal issues “have been settled?” “No,” Karen replied, “that’s what I’m saying. It’s too painful to listen to, you know?”
She continued: And their accusations. Do you want me to hurt you? Karen added: “Honestly, I hope I win when everything comes out but I have to respect the law but when I can talk about it, I plan to be open and transparent.”
Is Karen not taking responsibility because she feels she will be acquitted in the legal cases? Maybe we’ll learn more as Season 9 of Potomac rolls around.
