Justin Timberlake is breaking his silence about his DWI arrest

The 43-year-old performed at Chicago’s United Center on June 21, less than a week after she was arrested and charged in New York on a drunken driving charge. While on stage, the “Cry Me a River” singer shared his first public comments about his life since the accident.

“We’ve been together through ups and downs left and right, and it’s been a tough week, but you’re here, I’m here, and nothing can change this moment now,” Timberlake told the crowd, as seen in a video posted by a fan on social media.

“I know it’s hard sometimes to love you, but you keep loving me and I love you too. Thank you so much,” the Grammy winner continued.

Timberlake was arrested in the Long Island community of Sag Harbor on the night of June 17 during a few days off from his Forget Tomorrow world tour. Officials said in a report obtained by E! News.
