As expected, Alexis had a rough time with Shannon Beador on RHOC Season 18. John and Shannon had recently gone through a tumultuous breakup that included her getting a DUI ticket. Now, Alexis was all over the place showing off her dream man, Johnny J. Alexis and John announced their engagement after less than a year of dating.

Alexis recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and her boyfriend Johnny J was there to support her in the audience. Given their recent engagement, Andy Cohen had to ask if Alexis planned on getting a prenuptial agreement with Johnny J. “He’s going to break off the engagement if you don’t stop calling him that,” Alexis told her boss. She was the one who gave him that nickname in the first place. It’s not our fault we took it all and ran.
The WWHL camera then panned to John in the audience, who looked defeated that Andy used his pet name for such a serious question. “I don’t want a pet name,” John declared. “No.” It looks like he’s going to keep this up for the long haul. Or, given the state of things with Shannon, maybe he really does want to hire lawyers and go to court — who knows? Well, Alexis has it all, too, as she later revealed her plans to use John’s last name once they’re married. “AJ all the way,” she declared.
