He is Joe Gorga Thinking of burying the hatchet? Maybe. But the feud between him and his sister Teresa Giudicemay be too broad to reconcile, even when it means that children may miss out.

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are very aware of the rift between Trey and Melissa Gorga and their families. RHONJ season 13 ended on a surprisingly sad note as the families seemed irreconcilable.

Father Joe presides over his cousin’s wedding

Bravo recently released a sneak peek at Episode 9 of the upcoming Season 14 of RHONJ. The preview saw Joe officiating Melissa’s cousin’s wedding. He addressed the wedding guests, saying: “Good evening, everyone. My name is Joe Gorga, and today is Father Joe. When Joe’s cousin, Nicholas Marko, came to the altar, he recounted the time they first met.

“When I met you, I looked at you and said, ‘Wow, look at this handsome man.’ And I said, ‘How are the ladies? You must be blowing them away, without knowing that I’m carrying this burden on you. One day, you came out as gay. I looked at you. I hugged you. And I loved you more than I ever have.” That tender moment caused Joe to reflect.

When he was alone in front of the cameras, he said: “It was just a beautiful moment… It made me think of my sister, and say, ‘Wow, she’s not going to my kids’ weddings.’ My nieces are getting married and I won’t be there.” He also expressed his gratitude for the way Melissa’s family accepted him. “We encourage each other and love each other. And I’m a part of that.”

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
