They then moved on to one of my favorite shows, The Amazing Race, and I actually had to stop watching season 30 because they annoyed me so much. Unfortunately, the moment Jessica teamed up with Cody, it felt like her personal game was destined to fail.
While in the Big Brother house, viewers noticed that her dominant alliance was dragging her down and giving Jessica special powers. However, some players blamed her for Cody’s mistakes during the game. Although she was not destined to win, Jessica remained loyal to Cody and their romance.

Jessica and Cody exchanged glances the moment they entered the Big Brother house. Despite some fans’ skepticism, it turns out their love was more than just a show. After being evicted from the house by the housemates, Cody and Jessica competed together on the Amazing Race season and won the $1 million prize. Although Cody and Jessica felt like they had redeemed themselves, many fans found the two of them unbearable to watch.
Fans took to Reddit to air their grievances at the win. One wrote, “Jessica, in particular, is a textbook-level narcissist. She’s mad that Evan didn’t solve the puzzle for her even though she literally screwed Alex, Connor, Lucas, and Brittany with phones last episode.” Another added that the pair “have absolutely no sportsmanship. Their personalities are terrible. This win will do nothing to fix her terrible personality.” However, the military veteran didn’t look at Jess the way fans did and later popped the question on February 13, 2018.

Shortly after their engagement, Jessica and Cody surprised everyone by announcing their marriage in October 2018 via People magazine. The couple took their vows to The Chateau Le Dome at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. Jessica was clearly living in a fairytale setting, saying, “Fall in LA is so beautiful, so I wanted to dance under the stars all night long. I wanted it to be filled with flowers and hanging lights and lots and lots of candles. I wanted it to feel very romantic. Like a daydream.”
“Our relationship went on for a long time where we knew everything about each other, and the outside world was new too,” Cody noted. “If you live with someone else, there are no secrets. It wasn’t until we finally had some alone time outside that we could start to get to know each other beyond what everyone else knew, and I think that was very special.”

After settling into their Texas home, Jessica welcomed their first child together, Maverick, in 2019. The couple then went on to have two more children, Carter and Atlas, who arrived one after the other in October 2020 and July 2022. The couple then welcomed their fourth daughter, Gemma, in 2023. While pregnant with her daughter in 2019, Jessica told ET, “After this, I’m ready for the next baby, and the next baby, and the next baby!” The couple is a blended family, as Cody has a daughter from a previous relationship.
In the interview, Cody was very excited, saying that if he could form a whole football team, “in the future, when they’re all grown up and they all come home for the holidays, that would be great.” That’s a nice feeling, but what if your kids grow up hating you? That would be a terrible Thanksgiving!

The couple seems to be going strong. A quick glance at their Instagram account reveals a slew of family photos, and don’t worry, Jessica, you’re still beautiful. In addition to their podcast, the couple runs a number of businesses, including That’s Amore at-home latte kits and It’s NOMB, a customizable T-shirt company. The family seems to be thriving, but I bet most fans don’t care much unless they’ve had a personality transplant.
