Jesse Solomon was fired from his finance job after Summer House.

It seems that the stars of the new reality shows must decide what their public persona is. And registering for such exposure risks affecting their previous careers and public opinion.

All one needs to do is look at summer house a star Jesse Solomon As a cautionary tale. He filmed his first season as a financial manager, but was fired after the season aired.

Jesse enjoys learning about a “new industry.”

Jesse confirmed this while filming with internet personality Kate Max. His LinkedIn account reveals that he was the vice president of Chicago Atlantic Group until March 2024.

“It was a public company. There’s a lot of compliance and governance that goes into that. And I’m just on TV drinking and having sex with girls. So maybe that’s a bad look for the company,” Jesse said.

As such, Jesse has stepped away from finance and embraced the role of social media influencer. He is not supposed to earn as much as his co-star Lindsay Hubbard.

“I enjoy every moment, and it’s nice to learn about a new industry,” he admitted.

A month earlier, on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast, Jesse denied planning to go down this path and was not trying to “become an influencer by appearing on reality TV.”

“I’m not a digital creator by nature,” he added. “I always thought it was awkward to be a guy who posts on social media. But that’s the reality of our world today. It’s been fun and I’m embracing it.”

Jesse is still actively working in finance. But his “capacity” has been diminished by the “40-hour work week.”

“I help companies find alternative capital to traditional bank financing,” Bravoliberty added. “I also present some of these deals to investors to bundle into these loans.”

Jesse told Kate Mack how much the “really honest messages” he’s received from fans have impacted him. His efforts to support others have helped them share their own stories of cancer recovery.
