Jennifer Pedrante Offers $160K to Settle Unpaid Rent Case

Jennifer Pedrante She finally came to an agreement with her yoga studio landlord regarding the rent owed.

According to legal documents, The Real Housewives of Orange County The star, along with her ex-husband William and their business partners, agreed to pay a total of $160,026 to end the lawsuit with Plaza El Paseo. The former couple will pay three installments of $25,000 by October 31, with the final payment of $85,026 due by December 31, 2024.

The original lawsuit alleged that Jennifer and her partners failed to pay the agreed-upon rent. Now that they have reached a settlement, the former couple is asking the court to approve it and dismiss the case.

Jennifer Pedrante was charged with failing to pay rent due.

According to In Touch, Jennifer and her partners leased the studio in 2019, putting down an $18,000 deposit. They agreed to pay $4,651 in rent for the first six months, after which the rent would rise to $9,000 for months seven through ten. According to the lease agreement, the rent would continue to rise over time.

On the season 18 premiere of RHOC, Jennifer explained that her job as a yoga instructor “isn’t enough to cover the rent.” Jennifer claimed that she only makes “$50 per class” and “Will doesn’t work for the family anymore, so none of us can pay the rent.”

According to the lawsuit, “On and after November 1, 2023, Defendants failed to pay the rent obligations due under the Lease in full and on a timely basis.” In February 2024, the landlord served “a notice to pay or vacate.” Rent payments were $9,875 per month at the time.

In addition to the rent owed, the lawsuit seeks $133,000 in damages from Jennifer, her ex-husband and their business partners.

Separation and divorce

In March 2023, Jennifer’s husband filed for divorce. Jennifer initially asked the court to grant her primary custody of their five children, with William receiving visitation rights. But in the final divorce settlement, the couple agreed to share joint custody of their four minor children. William will pay $4,674 per month in child support and $1,735 per month in spousal support.

Under the settlement, William will have to pay Jennifer a portion of any bonuses he earns at work. However, that amount will be reduced by Jennifer’s earnings on RHOC.

If Jennifer remarries, her spousal support will end. She and her fiancé Ryan Boyajian are currently engaged, but as far as we know, they have no plans to tie the knot anytime soon.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
