Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are thinking about dating other people

After four years of marriage, the Vanderpump Rules alumni announced their split in February. Viewers of their current show, The Valley, got an inside look at the marital issues they were facing before they decided to split.
Jax and Bret take care of their three-year-old son, Cruz, while trying to figure things out. However, they seem to be moving further and dipping their toes into moving forward forever. Jax just revealed that he and Brittany are free to date other people.
Jax says he and Brittany are “both on the same page about dating other people”
Jax addressed the latest rumors about him during the latest episode of his show, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. People started talking after he went on a three-hour lunch date with model Paige Woolen. Brittany wasn’t part of the episode — probably because she couldn’t even be in the same room with him.
“I am not — I repeat, not — dating anyone,” Jax explained. I was seen with someone and it was strictly lunch. Obviously Brittany and I have been separated for a long time.
He acknowledged the challenges they face. “What we are going through now is difficult. Marriage is not easy.”
Jax shared that they are exploring several options such as therapy and dating others before considering divorce (which is probably inevitable).
“We’re trying to exhaust everything before we have to go down the divorce route — if that’s the case.”
Jax says they agree to date, keeping Cruz a priority. “We both agree that this is a good thing. But the most important thing is our son.”
He continued, “Part of spending time apart means exploring other people. All marriages are different, but this is what’s good for our marriage. This is something we’ve talked about and we’re on the same page. We have some rules with it, but this is what we’re exploring.”
According to him, Brittany was quietly exploring as well. “I know there’s nothing for her to do. But she’s doing her own thing, too.”
Jax once again denied “dating” Paige. “I’m not dating anyone, and I don’t plan to date anyone. I don’t know if I’m ready to start dating again; I don’t think I am. We’re just hanging out with anyone right now.”
It’s easy to assume exactly What Jax and Paige Are Doing – The phrase “not dating” is probably pure semantics. Now that Britt is free of Jax-induced vomit, hopefully she’ll be out and about talking about “don’t date” models too!
