But after her divorce from David Beador, she began to hit rock bottom.
The mother of three had an extra cocktail or two and spiraled emotionally out of control. A lot. Before fans knew it, she was dating John Jansen, burning bridges left and right. Even with all that being said, Shannon had little support from her friends. Instead of rallying around her, the cast was indifferent to her pain and vocal about her possible drinking issues. Shannon definitely needs some help.

In the trailer, Shannon is seen breathing heavily during a business trip. Shannon shared with ET that her breakdown was due to all the legal cases John had against her, including suing her for a $75,000 facelift. “Oh, it went overboard. For the first time in my life, I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I was being told things. I was talking to my lawyer on the side, and I was being told things with girls that I couldn’t believe,” Shannon told the outlet.
The Real Housewives of Orange County has only just begun, but fans are already noticing how shaky Shannon is. She’s apologized for several rallies after being accused of having a drinking problem. She’s also been keeping her distance from Alexis Bellino, who can’t stop talking about John’s awesome stick. As Shannon puts it, “More is happening and I want to make it clear that I don’t want to be portrayed as a victim. I’m not. If anything, I’ve proven to myself over the past year that I’m a survivor. I’m not a victim.” But she’s acting like one.
Shannon Beador needs to take life a little more seriously.
Shannon has always been one of the funniest Real Housewives to watch. I mean, who really puts crystals in their foundation? Shannon has a habit of never thinking she’s doing anything wrong, and always coming off as the victim. At first, I loved how Shannon held onto every grudge and refused to move on. But now I think she’s just hurting herself. At some point, Shannon needs to take the lead. Or… get some therapy?
Shannon hasn’t made any progress in changing her life while on the show. While she spends thousands of dollars on her outward appearance, she hasn’t looked inside, except for weekly acupuncture appointments. Shannon has never taken serious responsibility for her drunk driving. Yes, fans have seen her cry to her lawyer and repent, but she does community service at her church. She has dared to blame John for inciting her. But in the end, Shannon is the one behind the wheel, driving drunk, and pretending to walk with Archie. She needs to get more serious about her issues when it comes to her personal and professional life.
Shannon Beador needs to let go of John Jansen
I understand how upset you are about losing a long-term relationship. But at some point, Shannon has to move on. She has been critical of John a lot. In my humble opinion, it would be helpful for the mother of three to stop criticizing John every chance she gets. Constant bad-mouthing and avoiding the fact that she has information about her ex is not helpful at all.
If Shannon could accept the breakup and take control of her life, I think the staff would show her more compassion. But her coworkers need to be more understanding when it comes to Shannon’s current predicament. She has three daughters in college, rent, and a new business, and she’s doing it all on her own.
