If you’ve never heard of the classic sitcom Golden Girls, you should hear it first

If you’ve never heard of the classic sitcom Golden girlsYou must educate yourself first. The film is about four older women living together in Miami as they experience the highs and lows of their golden years. The show is a hit between the lively Blanche, the strong-willed Dorothy, the airy fairy Rose, and the old-school Sophia. Fans learned what it meant to be friends early on. So, if payment comes, than in The Real Housewives Does the universe fit every personality?

Rose Nylund

There is no other housewife that comes to my mind more than Whitney Rose. The youngest of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has had some adorable space moments. So, it’s no surprise that many followers fast-forwarded through her story moments. Just like Rose, Whitney is more of a cornball. I don’t doubt that Whitney is intelligent, but she often overcompensates by acting as if she’s emotionally developed. However, just like our sweet rose, I believe Whitney has a heart of gold that usually always shines through even the toughest of situations.

Blanche Devereaux

I swear Sonja Morgan would flirt with driftwood if it would give her a little attention. Just like Blanche, Sonia has always known how to use her looks to get ahead. Like the Atlanta-born Blanche, Sonia was also very sensitive. Although she might sometimes try not to show it, she did care when she stood up, which was very rare. The two share the same personality traits, which include being fun-loving, outgoing and promiscuous.

Sophia Petrillo

The Golden Girls mother was fierce and loyal to a fault, much like Dolores Catania, who is the muscle of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They’re both OG queens who know exactly how to put those around them in their place. Sofia was often stuck in the old, traditional Italian way of thinking, like Dolores. Although Sofia once said, “Sticks and stones may break your bones, but cement pays homage to tradition,” I can imagine Dolo also saying something similar to the Bravo cameras.

Dorothy Zbornak

For me, Dorothy was probably the hardest character to match. She was a strong-willed teacher who never backed down from doing the right thing. After some thought, Kim Fields came to mind. Just like Dorothy, Kim was cut above the rest and probably wasn’t cut out for reality TV. She used every moment she had to try to educate the ladies, as in her unparalleled breakfast. Kim shared with viewers that she loves reading and traveling. She was also seen as the boring ATL housewife, and unfortunately, Dorothy could often be seen staying home alone as well, while her friends went out on the town.

Where do the Golden Girls fit in?

Now, it’s only fair that we try to figure out where Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia will end up in their franchise town. It’s a hard question to think about, but I think I’ve figured it out. Blanche will be placed on either The Real Housewives of Atlanta due to her deep Southern roots or The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Sofia will undoubtedly fit into The Real Housewives of New Jersey. There’s no doubt in my mind that Teresa Giudice would go crazy not being able to intimidate her. I can easily see Sophia and Margaret Joseph bonding over throwing naughty couples into the pool. Picture it: Sophia walking hand in hand with Marge, noting, “Your husband is in the pool.” Priceless.

Rose has to be on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City list because she’s the closest to St. Olaf. It often feels as if many of the current Housewives may have also grown up in a Midwestern city. I imagine Rose and Whitney talking for hours about nothing.

Finally, Dorothy would probably be very well off staying in Miami. The city is vibrant, though I doubt she would agree with the state’s current political climate, especially as a teacher. At first I thought Real Housewives of New York, but dare I say Luann de Lesseps and Sonia would drive her crazy.
