I can’t imagine having the ability to work with Reese WitherspoonNot only am I a Legally Blonde fan, I live by the “whoever said orange is the new black was screwed.” But I like to think this Southern belle knows a thing or two about what it takes to be one of Hollywood’s top actresses. So when the Oscar winner revealed that she might have a collaboration with Real Housewives Star, you’re over the moon.
Reese stopped the press when she announced on the 2024 Emmys red carpet that she might be working with a character from the Bravo series. Although she has never watched Real Housewives, she told E!, “But I sat next to Real Housewives on a flight recently.” While the flight attendant, Heather McMahan, tried her best not to show her admiration, viewers were already speculating about who it might be.
Kyle Richards has the longest resume and is probably the person who works with Reese Witherspoon.
Almost immediately, my mind went to the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, known for their actors. Kyle Richards was the first to come to mind given her extensive resume. “I bet big that Kyle Richards is the one to play this,” one fan wrote on X. Kyle, like Reese, has been in the industry since she was a little girl. The 90210 actress has been acting consistently since her mother thrust her into the spotlight. Kyle has credits like The Car, Halloween, and Down to Earth.
She never stopped acting. She reprised her role as Lindsay Wallace in Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in recent years. She also worked on Peacock’s The Housewives of the North Pole. To say that Kyle has caught acting fever would be an understatement, but I wonder if she can match Reese’s energy.
Could Lisa Rinna be working with Reese Witherspoon?
Another guess on the list was Lisa Rinna. With fans claiming “watch her Rinna,” the hypothesis holds true. Lisa also has a history of acting, though more on the small screen than the silver screen. At 61, Lisa has made her way through the industry. She is best known for her role as Billie Reed on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives and Taylor McBride on Melrose Place.
Again, I’m not convinced that Lisa and Reese will work well together. Lisa has a reputation for causing trouble. And while I think she’ll be a professional, I don’t think their projects will fit into the movie business. Now, if Reese had a spot on QVC, I’d imagine the two would get along, but until the Walk the Line actress delivers a great performance, they’re not in the same league.
Garcelle Beauvais is in the running to work with Reese Witherspoon
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans immediately thought Reese was working with Garcelle Beauvais. The mother of three is a staple of ’80s movie memorabilia. She worked alongside Eddie Murphy in Coming to America and Coming to America 2. Garcelle has a graceful big-screen presence that would pair well with Reese. She’s worked with major stars like Jennifer Garner in You Got Me and Anthony Hopkins in Bad Company. Garcelle just earned rave reviews for her role in Black Girl Missing, which appeared on the latest season of RHOBH.
Garcelle has also done some television work. She is perhaps best known for her roles on The Jamie Foxx Show and the crime drama series NYPD Blue. Garcelle is kind and easygoing, so I think she and Reese would have a good working relationship. I could see Garcelle being a good fit if the project was a drama.
Denise Richards might be the winner.
Personally, I’d bet on Denise Richards. This woman has literally been in everything. Denise got her start in National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon I in 1993. Since then, the blonde bombshell has never looked back. She’s kept a busy schedule, working on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and High Tide in 1995. But Denise’s big break came in Starship Troopers. She then landed a role in Wild Things and finally became a Bond girl in The World is Not Enough.
Denise has the ability to hold her own against Reese. They’re both roughly the same age and played the girl next door exceptionally well. I can definitely imagine them collaborating on a Hello Sunshine movie in the future. While Reese is keeping the details under wraps, fans are hoping to figure out the mystery before it drives them crazy.
