How Taylor Swift influenced Craig Conover’s latest business decision

You never know when inspiration will strike. It could be in the bathroom, on the plane, or at a coffee shop. It can happen literally anywhere. to Craig ConoverHis final inspiration struck him while he was on his way to… Taylor Swift prom. Now, he is doing everything he can in his new business venture.

The Southern Charm star has put his money into an alcohol company called Spritz Society. They make a variety of wine drinks, and now that he’s part of their team, they let him create a new flavor for their lemon iced tea. It all started thanks to a bus trip to The Eras Tour.

Craig Conover’s new work: Blame the Ages Tour

Craig spoke to Bravo’s The Daily Dish about his investment in Spritz Society. He explained how their partnership began when he and Paige DeSorbo went to see Taylor.

“I was first introduced to the Spritz Society last summer when I was on my way to a Taylor Swift concert. They were on the bus and I was drinking them and I loved them because they were wine-based,” Craig recalls.

He continued: “My friends, Ben Soffer and Claudia Oshry, ended up being at the show and I quickly discovered that they were the founders. The more I learned, the more excited I became about the brand, which led to a natural progression in my involvement.

Initially, Craig said he never envisioned himself in the alcohol business. So, he didn’t intend to become Loverboy’s rival. It’s just pure coincidence.

“I became an investor in April, and have been working with them ever since to develop my flavor, Lemon Iced Tea,” Craig explained.

According to Craig, the inspiration behind the Lemon Iced Tea flavor stems from its “roots in South Carolina.” He wanted something that felt “authentic” and is now looking to incorporate the brand into the rest of his projects. For example, he teased that the Spritz Association will be serving drinks at some of Sewing Down South’s upcoming events. Seriously, who would have thought Craigie would be the branding genius of a Southern Charm group?

“I’m always looking for opportunities to grow my brand and I’ve found that the best way to do that is to be part of projects that feel like an extension of myself,” Craig explained. “This way I am passionate about what I create and it is something that will automatically resonate with my fans.”
