But recently, fans and cast members of The Real Housewives of Orange County got a glimpse into what Ryan has been up to. He found himself in the gambling scandal involving baseball player Shohei Otani. ESPN reported that Los Angeles Dodgers interpreter Eppei Mizuhara wired money to Ryan to pay off his gambling debts. The interpreter has agreed to plead guilty to two federal charges in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for stealing nearly $17 million from the baseball player’s bank.

Ryan will be granted immunity for his testimony, the newspaper reported. His lawyer told the sports publication: “Since there is an active investigation and Ryan is working with the authorities, he cannot confirm or deny what is going on.
