How Austin Butler feels about The Carrie Diaries 10 years later

Before he donned a pair of his famous blue suede boots, Butler Austin He was courting a young Carrie Bradshaw.

And even though it’s been a decade since Austin starred opposite AnnaSophia Robb on Sex and the City Prequel series Carrie DiaryIt’s an experience he looks back on fondly.

“The Carrie Diaries for me was when I first moved to New York,” Austin said exclusively. And the! News‘ Will Marfuggi. “I was surrounded by people I loved being around, I learned a lot and I fell in love with that city so I look back with a lot of nostalgia.”

In fact, the 32-year-old – who played Sebastian Kidd on The CW series – believes that playing the famous budding writer’s love interest allowed him to truly immerse himself in the moment.
