The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Hulu’s #MomTok series has proven popular with viewers. The Mormon influencer moms have been swept up in the #MomTok “soft swing” scandal. But the series also shows the battle over control of #MomTok, the relationship struggles, and the bonds between these women. Of course, Heather Jay A Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member noticed this and wanted to come to the party.
Heather Jay Wants to Host ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Reunion’
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has not been renewed for a second season yet. But with all the drama in the final episode, fans need it. After all, #MomTok founder Taylor Frankie Paul’s relationship with Dakota Mortenson hangs in the balance.
Hulu also hasn’t announced plans for a reunion. Fan account @ratemybravo asked on Instagram, “Serious question: Who is going to host their reunion?” Well, Heather jumped in the comments. “Please, please,” she posted with a crying smiley face and praying hands emoji. RHOSLC cast member Monica Garcia was nominated for season four, which certainly upset her nemesis Heather.
I think Heather might be the perfect fit. She now has a second book deal after the success of her first, Bad Mormon. In that book, she talks about growing up Mormon, feeling out of place, getting divorced, and leaving the church. So Heather can certainly relate to many mothers who have gone through divorce, including Taylor, Layla Taylor, Jessie Ngatikura, and Demi Engemann.
In an interesting twist, Demi is actually connected to RHOSLC. Her husband, Brett Engemann, was previously married to RHOLSC alum, Angie Harrington. The couple shares two sons. So maybe Heather Jay is the right evil Mormon to lead a secret Mormon wives reunion!
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu, and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 premieres Wednesday, September 18 at 9/8c on Bravo.
