Heather Jay She was always the Good Time Girl on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. At first, Lisa Barlow gives her the name to be suspicious, but Heather wears it with a badge of honor. She’s a badass Mormon who embraces her freedom and we can’t help but love her.
Heather’s journey on RHOSLC has been full of drama, like all of her co-stars. But we’ve always watched her grow into her true self. During the first season, Heather was still struggling with leaving the Mormon church and being a single mother. She is now successful in work and life, living in her dream house and doing whatever she wants. And of course, being a divorced mother to her three daughters, which doesn’t include imposing strict Mormon rules on them.
Heather Jay’s girls are thriving
Heather spoke with Bravo’s The Daily Dish to give an update on her three daughters. Her daughters, Georgia and Ashley, are both away at college and joining sororities. “Georgia is going to rush into a sorority. Ashley is in Alpha Phi,” Heather explained. “They’re just kind of living out sorority girl dreams. When I went to college, we didn’t have sororities or fraternities at Brigham Young University. They are not allowed. I’ve always dreamed of being in a sorority. So watching my kids do it is just kind of fun.
Heather also encourages her daughters to use college as a time to explore, not tie themselves to a specific career path right away. “They kind of know that college is about becoming an adult and finding out what they’re interested in,” she continued. “So they didn’t lock themselves into a particular career. I think I was an example that you never know where things are going to go.”
Her youngest daughter, Annabelle, lives at the house and Heather says they act like “college roommates.” “We’ve just bought an air fryer, we make fun recipes together and watch Love Island and go to bed. It’s a very wonderful life,” she said. “I love having just one adult child [at home] Now.” We want to be one of Heather’s kids. They look like little Good Time Girls who know how to have fun.
