Heather Dubrow Talks Alexis Bellino’s RHOC Return Is “Beautiful.”
Heather Dubrow excited Alexis Bellino Back for season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“I’ve been campaigning for Alexis’ return for a few years now,” Heather said. “So I was thrilled that it came back. But you know, truth is stranger than fiction, and who could have predicted everything for John Janssen? So, it’s interesting, it’s a great season.”
Of course, Heather is referring to the drama surrounding Alexis’ current relationship with Shannon Beador’s ex, John Janssen. Sparks will definitely fly during Season 18.
Alexis is back!
When asked about which maybe “There’s potential feud between Shannon and Alexis,” Heather told People. “No, Alexis is a really beautiful girl. “She wouldn’t intentionally hurt a fly.”
The mother of three first appeared on RHOC in Season 5 and left after Season 8. She won’t actually be getting an orange for season 18, but she will be joining the cast as a “Friend of the Housewives.” But there is always an opportunity for progress.
“Alexis feels energized and excited to be back in the mix,” an unnamed source said when filming began. “She has real relationships with a lot of girls, so it’s completely normal to spend time with friends.”
That remains to be seen, as the atmosphere is likely to be tense. Shannon has been very clear about her ex-husband dating the former cast member. She said she was “hurt” and is still trying to “heal” them as a couple, especially after John previously said he was tired of being in the public eye.
“How many housewives are there in Orange County?” she asked. “Is this your dating pool?”
John and Shannon dated for about four years before he “shocked” her by breaking up in late 2022. They couldn’t get over their constant “bickering.” At first, she was heartbroken and said she couldn’t stop crying.
The two eventually became friends, but their relationship was strained again due to Shannon’s arrest in September on an alleged drunk driving charge.
RHOC filming picks up in January 2024. Heather, Shannon and Alexis will join fellow returning cast members Tamra Judge, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter and Jennifer Pedrante for another season.
