Heather Dubrow gives a health update after her mammogram

on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather Dubrow Her mammogram became a major source of drama when she felt like her colleagues didn’t examine her after receiving her results. The test revealed she had a high risk factor for breast cancer, and she felt her friends could have shown more concern.

You can’t blame Heather for feeling scared and upset when she received her mammogram result. Who wouldn’t be? But now that the dust has settled from the initial shock, Heather shared an update on where her health is today.

Initially, it was Heather’s idea for the group to do mammograms together. Cameras followed the ladies on RHOC Season 18, Episode 14, and Heather eventually learned that she was at high risk for breast cancer. In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, she opened up about the scary moment and what it means to her.

“My risk factor went up dramatically, which was terrifying,” Heather recalls. “Literally, the radiologist said to me, ‘Listen, if we find him, we’ll catch him early.’ And it’s like you don’t want to hear that. You don’t want to hear something like that.”

“I go there every year, Terry,” she continued [Dubrow]On staff at that hospital, and so it usually is [the radiologist] She comes out and says, “Hey, it’s great!” See you next year. This was a turn on and scary considering two family members had just had it.

These days, Heather maintains that she is in good health, but remains vigilant about the results. Armed with information from her mammogram, she’s looking forward to making healthy decisions to move her body forward.

“As I sit right now, I’m a healthy person,” Heather confirmed. “But it’s worrying to know what kind of tests I have to do to make sure I stay that way.”
