Heather Dubrow The Real Housewives of Orange County star didn’t earn the nickname “Fancy Pants” for nothing. The mother of four is no stranger to the finer things in life. Whether she’s traveling on a private jet to take her kids to college or always having champagne over ice, Heather is a woman we’d all mind being. When it comes to her high fashion, Heather embraces clean lines and neutral colors and is known for her impeccable fashion sense.
From dollars to cupcakes, Heather is a great homemaker. It’s rich, funny, charming, brilliant, and polarizing without being sinister. She provides a great contrast to many of the women the show was originally built around. Heather has won the lottery in her life. Her sense of interior design, fashion style, and ability to throw a great party has cemented her as one of the top housewives in OC.

Four years ago, Heather launched her own line on ShopHQ. Heather, who considers herself a fashion designer, noted that the Bravo star designed and supervised a range of luxury items. Heather has always said that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look and feel your best, although I dare say her extensive Chanel collection would nullify that point. The collection had a keen eye for detail and luxurious finishing touches. Heather’s goal for her first collection was for each item to stand the test of time while transitioning seamlessly into each season.
The fashion line has not received great reviews. At the time, fans took to Reddit to question her decisions. One fan wrote: “She clearly doesn’t need the money. So why Heather, why! These are so ugly and who would pay 233 for that? Get a nice Kate Spade bag instead.” Another viewer added: “All these purses look like the purses you find At TJMaxx or Marshall’s on that big rack of purses.” So, after that failed attempt, fans thought this was the last they’d see of Heather and her fashion lines. But Fancy Pants isn’t done, no ma’am.
Heather’s new project
Heather is back and ready to make a mark on the fashion world. The actress wrote on her Instagram account, “Sneak peek!! Super excited to share a little glimpse of what we’ve been working on. We’re so excited! To be the first to know, sign up by clicking the link in the bio, but before you go. Any guesses? ?” The video showed colorful fabrics and leather. Heather then added: “I’ve been working on something you’ll definitely love. Stay tuned! It’s coming soon!”
The post was tagged as a collaboration with the Susan Bender x Heather Dubrow collection. Suzanne is a New York City designer, and the duo collaborated on their joint Instagram account. The account bio says: “Timeless wardrobe essentials born from the friendship between New York-based fashion designer @susanbendernewyork and lifestyle icon @heatherdubrow are coming soon.”
Who is Susan?
Susan is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business. According to her website, she worked briefly in the corporate world before quickly finding herself in the sartorial space. “I chose my favorite medium, leather, to design a collection of comfortable, wearable pieces for my friends and then their friends,” Susan explained. A piece of leather can last a lifetime. Susan believes in working with fair wage factories where she knows every worker.
Although Heather doesn’t have a background in fashion, she has a good eye. Thanks to her numerous trips to New York and Paris Fashion Week, she has focused her attention on what she likes to see on the runway. Heather has been a guest client of Louis Vuitton in the past, which means the fashion house takes care of everything. So they paid for the flights, the drivers provided her with clothes, and invited her to exclusive parties. While she probably won’t host her new clients in any such way, it might be interesting to see what Heather decides to contribute to the world of fashion.
