Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton They have a sweet new addition to their family, and there’s a heart-warming story behind their connection.
Gwen announced on Instagram on September 26 that she and Blake had taken in a stray kitten — which they named Corn Shelton — who wasn’t doing well when they first met him at their home in Oklahoma.
“The day he came to our house, he was not only not alive, he was very sick,” she wrote. “But with a lot of love and care, he has become a healthy cat.”
Gwen showed off Korn’s transformation in a sweet clip set to Billie Eilish“Birds of feathers.” And in the footage, No doubt The frontwoman cradles the weakened cat with a towel before cutting to photos of him looking healthier.
“This is him,” Blake can be heard saying in another video of Korn walking toward the camera, “doing an amazing job and getting fat.”
Gwen ended her post by declaring: “We are so grateful that he is part of our family.”
