Golden Bachelor alum tried to date Kelly Anderson’s dad

Susan admitted that she had been emailing Mark long before the reunion, and they agreed that they Casey Anderson My father is a “great man.”

When Kathy joked that she might want to date Mark because he’s a nice guy, Susan reminded her that he was 57 years old. Cathy, now 71, replied, “So what? I could be younger.”

Does Kelsey want to date her father?

When asked how she would feel seeing her father on a dating show like the upcoming Golden Bachelorette, Kelsey admitted that she would “fully support him.”

“I want my dad out of there. I want my dad to date,” Kelsey said on Bachelor Happy: Golden Hour. “My mom… always said, ‘I want you to find someone else.’” [after I’m gone]. I want you to find another love. Even before she got sick she always said that. She knew she would pass him by.

Kelsey added that her siblings would also support their father dating because they “want him to be happy.” Although it took some of her siblings “a little longer to feel that way,” they eventually came back.

“My father gave us a lot of love growing up and still does,” she explained. “My father deserves love too… Loving your family is different from loving a partner… He needs the support of a partner, someone who is not his son, not his brother, or his sister-in-law. Like his best friend. I think my father deserves that.”

“My dad didn’t really date,” Kelsey added. “He dated a lady or two but… he always felt guilty about it… he felt like no one would ever replace our mom… but it would be a different love… something [he deserves]”.”

We just want him to be happy and [to] “I find a better friend like I had with my mother,” she concluded. Kelsey’s mother, Denise Anderson, passed away in 2018 after a battle with breast cancer.
