Gizelle Bryant’s reaction to news of her ex-husband’s engagement
There’s about to be a new First Lady for the New Missionary Baptist Church! If you miss it yourself, Giselle Bryant Cheating ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant, announced he would take another shot at marriage. He got engaged to his friend Cary Turner and announced the news to his congregation during a recent sermon.
“I am very grateful to God that she agreed to be my wife,” Jamal told his congregation before taking his tearful fiancée to the stage.
He posted a clip of the sermon on Instagram and wrote: “My heart is very happy and my destiny is in clear focus. Love always wins!!
A match made in heaven
According to Jamal, his new girlfriend makes him a “better man.” But what does Gisele think about that? After all, he cheated on her when they got married. Then, during Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, they reconciled, then turned around and broke up again.
Despite their rough history, Gisele seems to support her ex-husband taking this big step in their relationship. She left some words of support on Instagram, congratulating him on his engagement. She supports their daughters’ new stepmother.
“Congratulations!” Gisele wrote in the comments. “So happy for you!”
Sweet, isn’t it? Interestingly, Gisele wasn’t the only one brave in the comments. Phaedra Parks from Married to Medicine and Real Housewives of Atlanta also shared some words of support for the happy couple. Of course, she always has her finger on the pulse of Atlanta.
“Congratulations JP!!!” I wrote. “So excited for you and Carrie. Love you all.”
During Jamal’s engagement, he bragged about all the wonderful things he loves about his wife. It seems that she recently obtained a doctorate degree, and he likes an educated woman. Additionally, Pastor Jamal also said he was drawn to the fact that Curry is “anointed.”
There’s no word on when Jamal and Carrie will walk down the aisle. But, if the dramatic engagement announcement is any sign of what’s to come, you can probably expect this wedding to be over-the-top.
