Friend Jenna Lyons helped out with the “best moments” during RHONY S15
For some strange reason, Jenna Lyons She made sure to keep her friend Cass Bird away from her The Real Housewives of New York. It’s an unusual decision for a show centered around women’s lives and relationships, but somehow, Bravo lets it get away with it.
Although we won’t see Cass in Season 15 of RHONY, Jenna recently explained to Bravo how her friend still had a hand in creating some of her “best moments.” According to Jenna, her highlight of the season came thanks to Cass’s mother, Nancy. Try not to yawn too hard.
Nancy to the rescue
Jenna touched on her relationship with Nancy and Cass during an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. She had nothing but positive things about her relationship with Cass but reiterated that we won’t be seeing her on the show.
“I’m in a relationship, and it’s been great. My life is great. I mean, I’m so happy,” Jenna explained.
“[Cass is] Brilliant, fun, and photographic. “So she wants to be behind the camera and not in front of it, so you won’t necessarily see it,” Jenna continued. “But her mother came on the show, which was literally the most fun I’ve ever had, and it was one of my favorite moments of the entire season. She came straight out of central casting…so cute.”
We caught a glimpse of Nancy during the Season 15 premiere of RHONY, which seemed odd considering we haven’t seen Cass yet. Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that Jenna and Cass got married in secret. It’s a big part of Jenna’s life that we don’t see, but she hopes Nancy can fill in the blanks.
“Nancy is my friend Cass’ mother, and this visit is the first time she and I have met,” Jenna said in her confessional. “She was funny and lovely and shared stories about Cass. He was – he was wonderful.
In the episode, Nancy helped Jenna clean out old shoes from her closet. Hopefully this isn’t one of the “best moments” Jenna described. There’s got to be more to the story than just swapping out old shoes, right?
