After a harrowing 14th season of the fan-favorite series, Tree may not be returning. For some viewers, it seems incomprehensible. For others, they’re ready to move on from the years-long feud between Tree and her family/cast mates Joe and Melissa Gorga.
While it’s hard to imagine Teresa leaving the channel on her own, it’s even harder to imagine Bravo letting go of one of the biggest reality TV stars in the world. But according to Frank, that’s the word on the street.

On a recent episode of Lisa Alasti’s podcast, Frank revealed that Teresa is unlikely to return to the show. “I’ve heard the same thing [rumors] “There are a lot of things we need to think about, like asking Teresa to leave, rather than firing her,” he said.
“But it’s unfortunate that I see Teresa getting somewhere,” Frank noted. “Because Teresa, across all the franchises, is probably the most famous housewife in the world.”
There have been whispers about Tree leaving RHONJ Publishing for years. The whispers never materialized, and Tree was always quick to deny it. But now the decision may be out of the best-selling author’s hands.
“I think they’re going to let go of some people and bring in new people as well as keep some people,” Frank guessed. “You can’t continue the way we’re doing it now because right now it’s basically two separate shows.”
“You’ve got a reality TV show where half the cast can’t film with the other half of the cast. How are you supposed to have a reality TV show?” the former lawyer turned gym owner added.
Frank isn’t wrong. During the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, Teresa, Melissa, and Joe agreed to the equivalent of kissing each other. Which is what happened this season, as the family members barely interacted.
However, Frank points to a different reason for Trey’s death. “She changed. In my opinion, she changed since she was a little girl.” [her husband] Louis [Ruelas] “She was there,” Frank concluded. “She’s not the same. She’s not the Teresa I grew up with.”
