Dr. Wendy Osefo teases her “most vulnerable” time on the show

Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac It’s a season of change with all-new cast members, alliances, and graphics. Literally, Bravo has done everything it can to eliminate the stink of Season 8 Dr. Wendy Osifoa new season means a chance to show a different side, and she recently teased that it will be her most vulnerable season yet.

Dr. Wendy Osefo is ready to get more real than ever

In Season 8, we saw Dr. Wendy struggling to rebuild her friendships with the rest of the cast. Then, a nasty little rumor about her mother being involved in witchcraft cast a dark pall over the entire season. For Season 9, Wendy is ready to put all that chaos in the past. She spoke to Baller Alert about what fans should expect.

“I felt like this was one of my most vulnerable seasons, and I know this may sound a little cliche, but you guys followed me on my teacher’s journey. You guys followed my journey with my husband and my in-laws,” Wendy explained.

“You guys have seen a lot, and we’re delving into all of those elements this season,” she continued.

During the Season 9 premiere of RHOP, we watched Dr. Wendy make the emotional decision to leave her position as a professor at Johns Hopkins University. She explained in the episode that the role no longer satisfies her. Instead, she wanted to focus on motherhood and, of course, a handful of side hustles.

For Wendy, the Achilles heel this season doesn’t just come from her professional moves. This is also evident through her changing friendships. RHOP Bestie Candiace Dillard Bassett is gone, and in the season premiere, she tries to find a way with Gizelle Bryant. On the surface, it seems a bit strange. But Wendy is ready to make big, bold decisions in all aspects of her life.

“For me, being real means living in your true self even when it hurts, even when you don’t want to, but just saying that this is me, with all my flaws and everything,” Wendy explained.

“And I think for me, this season was a defining moment for me being Wendy regardless of whether or not I had the girls’ approval or whether or not I had my mother’s approval. I couldn’t help but be myself.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
