Dolores Catania says she ‘needs’ more Ozempic after summer weight gain

Time for some maintenance. Dolores Catania She revealed that she had neglected to get her routine Ozempic injection, and now she is trying hard to rectify the situation. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star enjoyed a summer full of travel and weight gain. Dolores revealed in a recent interview that she is hoping to shed those pesky pounds she gained over the summer.

“I’m going to take my shot tomorrow,” Dolores told Page Six on Wednesday night. The RHONJ star was attending the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. “I’m actually late and no, I’m not late,” she added.

Dolores was abroad over the summer. She had traveled to South Africa for conservation work, as well as to Lisbon, Portugal, for tourism. As a result, she was unable to obtain the popular weight-loss drug.

“I just got back yesterday. I’m probably 20 pounds heavier than I was before I left,” the RHONJ star revealed. It was time for an update. “I better get back to work fast!” Dolores joked.

The Bravolebrity has been very transparent about her type 2 diabetes drug use, first revealing that she would start taking it in April 2023.

“I feel good about it,” Dolores said. “I’ve done research and talked to a lot of doctors and not one doctor has ever said to me, ‘It’s bad for you.’”

Her boyfriend Paul Connell’s health has also improved after taking Ozempic regularly. The couple now support each other through an effective exercise regimen and healthy eating, in addition to the support from regular Ozempic doses.

“Paul has lost 50 pounds and is no longer taking blood pressure medication,” Dolores shared.

The duo makes a stunning couple these days. However, The Traitors star is still waiting for an engagement ring. At least Dolores and Paul can thank each other for supporting each other on their journey to better health.
