Disney must have known they had a hit on their hands when they released them

Disney must have known it was going to be a big hit when it released Hocus Pocus in 1993. A movie about three witches resurrected to suck the lives out of the children of Salem was supposed to bring in crowds. Even though the Sanderson sisters were supposed to be seen as villains, it was hard not to sympathize with them. Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, and Mary Sanderson were lovable in their own way. Sarah was a sexy and attractive young witch. Meanwhile, Mary was a little shaken in her head. However, Winnie kept her sister’s dreams of living forever alive as the brains of the group.

With All Hollows Eve just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at our beloved one The Real Housewives. Which Bravolepolis would be the perfect Sanderson sister in a live-action movie? So far, Casper, the friendly ghost, has been their only competitor.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna can have her own charm

I couldn’t help myself when I saw this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills family photo Add chest and her daughters, Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle. All three of them had the same smug expression, for lack of a better term. It is as if they are looking at the peasants from their tower, or better yet, from the gallows, as the Sanderson sisters do at the beginning of the film. It didn’t hurt that Delilah had platinum blonde hair like Sarah Sanderson in the photo.

Lisa, who played Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives, was once one of the most unlikable ladies to ever hit Salem. Salem TV, not the city where thousands of witches were burned. Of course, Lisa will be Winifred, thanks to her ability to play the villain so well. She nailed the role and fit it perfectly. I can easily imagine these three performing the stage adaptation and scaring the audience to death.

The Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps is a hopeless romantic as Sarah Sanderson

I’m putting Luann de Lesseps in Sarah’s league for no other reason than her love of performing and men. Because of Sarah’s haunting voice, she was responsible for luring the children to their hut by hypnotizing them with her singing. I have to argue that Luann also has a haunting vocal range that has kept many Bravo fans up at night. Sarah was an airhead mixed with a siren. Luann certainly did her best to lure men into her grasp. But most of them end up eloping after a short period of dating.

Like Sarah, Lou has had her fair share of flirtations. While Sanderson’s younger sister made friends with a bus driver, Lou became close to a pirate in St. Barths. The two often use their sexual prowess to get what they want. The upbeat tone of “Money Can’t Buy You Class” can’t compare to the lullaby of “Come on little ones, I’ll take you away…” So I’d say that if Sarah had survived the sunrise, Luann would have had a run for her money .

Mary Sanderson has nothing about RHONY alum Kelly Bensimon’s alien mentality

Kelly Bensimon is not stupid, but she is a bit of an airy fairy. When viewers first met the Real Housewives of New York star, she was running down Fifth Avenue between cabs as if it was the most normal thing to do. Mary Sanderson was often seen as the secondary antagonist who also enjoyed stirring the cauldron. Although Kelly usually acts like she’s the victim, she was also great at playing the mean girl. Kelly often clashed with those who did not agree with her.

I’ve always appreciated Mary’s character because she was the most caring of the Sanderson sisters, but only to her sisters. The same line of thinking could be applied to Kelly, who was very motherly when she wanted to be. She often cared for those around her and did her best to protect the women she felt compatible with. However, Mary was still bad to the bone, and sometimes I wondered if Kelly didn’t also have a mean streak in her.

It’s Freaky Friday with a little bit of Bette Midler

While comparing the Sanderson sisters to their Real Housewives counterparts, I almost forgot that The Divine Miss M, Bette Midler herself, joked about wanting to be on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills show. Now, what a perfect cross between Hocus Pocus and Real Housewives. In what we hope is not an April Fool’s joke, Pitt took to X to ask: “Is it too late for me to be The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills? I’ve never watched it, but I’m in the mood to talk about some stuff. And get paid for it?” The Dream! franchise has had many actresses come and go, so why not Bette? The only reason I can see this not happening is because Bette is off filming Hocus Pocus 3, which no fan would be against.
