Dina Manzo says ‘The right people are fighting for you’

Fans of the early seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey no doubt remember that apostolic and her sister, Caroline Manzo. The sisters married two brothers, and in Dina’s case, things did not go well. She appears during the first season and a few episodes of the second season to conclude her story. However, she later returned to film the sixth season of RHONJ. By then she was estranged from her sister. It seems that the family is no longer “thick as thieves.” But now Dina has some closure regarding her ex-husband. Tommy ManzoAnd the crimes he committed.

Dina Manzo posts cryptic quote after Tommy Manzo’s sentencing

In June 2024, Tommy was convicted of hiring John Perna, a member of the Lucchese crime family, to attack David Cantin. At the time, the pair were dating, but have since married.

In 2015, John physically assaulted David in a mall parking lot in New Jersey. He reportedly gave Tommy John a discount on his wedding as payment. His wedding was held at The Brownstone, a venue owned by Carolyn’s husband Tommy and Albert Manzo. Ultimately, Tommy was convicted of a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity, conspiracy, and concealment and forgery of documents.

Finally, Tommy was sentenced to seven years in prison, plus three years of supervised release. Finally, Dina and David can move forward and close this painful chapter.

The Daily Beast reported that Dina shared a message via her Instagram Story. “Because in the end, the right people are fighting for you. The right people show up,” Dina posted. “The right people care, not just when life is comfortable, but when it’s hard and messy and hurting all over the place.” She attributed the quote to writer Bianca Sparacino Of course, Dina didn’t give us any context or clues about who she was referring to in her post. I have a feeling that Caroline, who wrote letters in support of Tommy, wouldn’t be on that list.
