Details of Kathryn Dennis’ DUI have been revealed
If you miss it yourself, Catherine Dennis of Southern Charm was recently arrested by the cops for drunk driving. Now, more details have emerged about the ordeal, and it’s just as messy as you’d imagine. Not only did the cops accuse her of causing a car accident, but they also found empty whiskey bottles in her car. OK.

Radar Online obtained the police report regarding Catherine’s recent arrest. The accusations against Catherine don’t look very good. According to cops, the car was hit from behind, causing a chain reaction with the following car. One of the drivers wants to press charges.
The cops said they could smell alcohol on Katherine. Plus, they can see that classic, sparkling look in her eyes. They then searched her car and found a brown paper bag containing “several small bottles of Fireball.” Some of them were already empty.
First of all, what kind of self-respecting adult drinks Fireball in the middle of May? Second, why do you think driving around with open containers of cinnamon whiskey would be a good idea? At least get rid of your evidence. To make matters worse, the cops said her dog was with her.
Originally, Katherine told the cops that she had not been drinking that night. She told them she went to record a podcast, but it ended up not going on, so she ended up innocently hanging out at a friend’s apartment. The results of a field sobriety test did not line up with that story, and she eventually admitted that she had drunk alcohol “much earlier” in the day.
“When the tests were completed, I asked Ms. Dennis where her dog was, and I reminded her that she had put her dog in the back seat of my patrol vehicle.” The report explained.
The cops decided that between the smell of booze, the failed field sobriety test, and the empty liquor bottles, they had enough “probable cause” to charge Katherine with drunk driving. She was also arrested on charges of having an open container in the car. The court date on The Southern Charm is June 4, but it’s safe to say that summer is not off to a good start for Katherine.
