Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Episode 4 celebrated the glory days

Dancing with the stars Episode 4 of Season 33 celebrated the glory days of Hair Metal. The contestants blasted off to the tunes of Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister and Poison. I was impressed that the mullet game was strong in this episode. It was so powerful that I couldn’t even see some of the male dancers’ faces!

Last time on DWTS, we saw the contestants suit up and dance to the theme song, Soul Train. There was no judiciary. Once again, Chandler Kinney and partner Brandon Armstrong topped the leaderboard with a hip-hop-flavored cha-cha. In second place, Bachelorette stars Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson impressed the judges with their fast-paced dance.

Regional Phil Johnson and his partner Emma Slater fell to the bottom of the leaderboard. In a shocking development, Dwight Howard and Daniela Karajac were relegated to second-to-last place with their Cha Cha.

All Soul Train Night judges’ scores and viewer votes will be combined with tonight’s results. Here’s what went down…

Hair Metal Night kicked off with a fireworks-filled opening number of “Rock and Roll All Nite” by KISS. The routine was choreographed by Pasha Pashkov, and Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra performed. He also appeared to tear up throughout the show. Unfortunately for the competitors, there was another double elimination.

Legendary KISS member Gene Simmons was a guest judge. It was all over the map. His comments did not match the results and he punched 9 to Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko but decided to show 10 paddle.

Additionally, he was a bit suspicious of the female contestants, telling Chandler that she “ruined my glasses” and mentioning her “flippings.” But overall, it was a fun night.

Reginald Vail Johnson and Emma Slater, along with Eric Roberts and Brett Stewart, have been eliminated on Dancing with the Stars, Season 33, Episode 4!

Both Reginald and Eric received harsh feedback from the judges for their performances. Reginald had a knee replacement a year ago and was in pain. As for Eric, he was still suffering from the effects of a car accident that nearly claimed his life.

Reginald’s Cha-Cha to Twisted Sister, I Wanna Rock, was light in content. “It’s so much fun to watch. You’re taking the least amount of steps of anyone else in this competition, but somehow we’re with you,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Meanwhile, Eric and Brett’s Paso Doble to Cherry Pie by Warrant also received a low score. “You can see how hard you’re working. You wasted time in the middle, but again, I love your spirit,” Derek Hough said.

Both men were class acts. When asked how he felt about working with Brett, Eric said, “I have never had a better work experience in my entire career.” “This was a very special occasion, very special to me,” Reginald said of Emma. It is sad to say goodbye to these two stars.

Who had the highest score tonight on Dancing with the Stars, Season 33, Episode 4?

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson She received the highest scores on Dancing with the Stars, Season 33, Episode 4.

Joey and Jenna performed a sexy and fiery tango set to the Scorpions’ hit song, Rock You Like A Hurricane. (The songs were chosen weeks ago before the recent horrific hurricanes.) The number opened with Joey playing the drums.

Additionally, Joey lost his Golden Retriever energy and replaced it with his Leading Man energy. The judges were happy with his performance. “Listen, that was honestly one of the best tangos I’ve ever seen from a male celebrity. That was phenomenal,” Derek said.

“You clearly have the goods in you. Don’t stop now,” said Gene. “Well,” Bruno added, “that’s how you rock and tango! You’re the leader of the pack!”

It’s clear how hard Joey is working, with his eyes set on bringing home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. He’s moved into the top section of the leaderboard in the last two episodes, and he’s continuing to improve.

What are the judge’s results on DWTS Season 33, Episode 4?

These are the judges’ combined scores from last night and tonight.

  • Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson (Tango) – 70 points
  • Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong (Jeff) – 69 points
  • Jane Tran and Sasha Farber (Paso Doble) – 62 points
  • Steven Niedorowski and Riley Arnold (Foxtrot) – 62 points
  • Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko (Cha Cha) – 61 points
  • Danny Amendola and Whitney Carson (Paso Doble) – 60 points
  • Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten (Jeff) – 56 points
  • Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy (Paso Doble) – 56 points
  • Dwight Howard and Daniela Karajac (Paso Doble) – 52 points
  • Eric Roberts and Brett Stewart (Paso Doble) – 46 points
  • Reginald Phil Johnson and Emma Slater (Cha Cha) – 42 points

I really liked Danny and Whitney’s performance. Danny doesn’t have any performing experience, and I think he’s still nervous. However, the judges want to see more polish and refinement.

Plus, I loved Jane and Sasha Basso Doble. They both walked with their knees on the floor! amazing. “Jane, there was a beautiful, strong calm about you tonight that showed strength on that floor,” Derek said. Then Bruno announced: “Talk about electricity. I think you blew my fuse with that paso doble.”

After that, I was blown away by Chandler and Jeff Brandon. It was fast, furious and full of attitude. However, the judges commented on her loss of strength at the end of the routine. There was also a small misstep. Carrie Ann then gives Chandler a note. “I think when you’re performing, I think you can be a little bit sharper, almost like a blue color, like sharp and clean,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Brooks and Gleb continued to showcase their exciting chemistry. Their cha cha involves a stripper pole, and they touched tongues while dancing. “When a woman has something to prove, get out of her way,” Carrie Ann stated. “Girl, you just did it.” This couple is quite prone to showmanship or down-to-earth romance.

Final thoughts on Dancing with the Stars, Season 33, Episode 4

I think having Jane as a guest judge was a gamble. While Steven and Riley performed the epic Foxtrot to Here I Go Again by Whitesnake, guitarist Joel Hoekstra shredded while standing on the car. Jean then made a strange comment about Superman to Steven which confused everyone. He may have been referring to Stephen at the Olympics, but if so, he didn’t arrive.

When Ilona got emotional, I felt bad for her. Her jazz dance didn’t go as well as it had in rehearsal. As a result, she cried while receiving her feedback and results. All the judges encouraged her to leave it behind her and start over.

Finally, I want to say congratulations to Phaedra’s friends who came out to support her and Val. Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger was in the ballroom, as were Real Housewives of Atlanta Peaches Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams.

Next week is Dedication Night where the contestants share their emotional journeys. Mark Ballas will return as guest referee. Additionally, Derek and his wife Hayley Herbert (Hough) will perform together. As you may recall, Hailey suffered a medical emergency and had to undergo brain surgery. Fortunately, she recovered and was able to dance again.

Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.
