Daisy Kelleher talks about Sister Bonnie’s motorcycle accident in Thailand
Daisy Kelleher She just shared some disturbing news on her social media. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht star’s sister, Bonnie, found herself in a motorcycle accident while in Thailand. Fortunately, Bonnie is alive, but she is seriously injured.
As such, Bonnie has found herself the recipient of multiple surgeries over the past few weeks. One can only imagine the turmoil Daisy and her family experienced. Daisy told everything that happened.
Daisy celebrated her sister’s 34th birthdayy Birthday in the hospital
On June 19, Daisy took to Instagram to share her sister Bonnie’s experience, with permission from her family. “Two and a half weeks ago my sister had an accident in Thailand,” Daisy wrote. “I received a message on Instagram from a friend of hers telling me she had been in an accident and had no other information.”
She continued: “Without going into too many details, she has had several surgeries including her chest, face, brain and two emergency surgeries, one when this happened, one over the weekend and a 12-hour surgery last week. She got out of the ICU over the weekend and is now in a regular room and it feels like another two weeks in the hospital and maybe longer.
In a follow-up post, Daisy told her followers that she arrived in Ko Samui on June 18. “She sat next to me,” she wrote. [my sister’s] On her 34th birthday, with the extent of her injuries, it is a miracle she is alive and we are all feeling optimistic and positive that with time she will make a full recovery.
Her stated goal in sharing Bonnie’s story was threefold. She wanted to encourage vehicle safety, especially while traveling. Daisy also stressed the importance of travel insurance. Finally, she encouraged her followers to take care of their friends. Daisy must know about close relationships; She has friends in high places.
