Cynthia Bailey teases RHOA return: ‘New blood was needed’
the The Real Housewives of Atlanta They’re gearing up for the Sweet 16. Even though there’s no Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, Shereé Whitfield, or Sanya Richards Ross, there’s still a lot for fans to look forward to.
Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora are back in the mix. And Porsha Williams decided it was time to make a comeback. Plus it doesn’t stop there. Cynthia Bailey, who held the peach from 2010 to 2021, has signed on as an official friend of the show. She spoke with Page Six about her excitement for the new season and said she’s looking forward to getting Atlanta back to its glory days.
“I feel like the show has been good the last couple of years. There’s no shadow, but it’s just there. It hasn’t blossomed the way Atlanta has always blossomed,” she said. “We’ve been No. 1 for a long time. It was very difficult to watch him not take first place, even if you were sitting on the sidelines. It really was like that. So, I think some new blood is needed, and from what I can tell, these ladies really seem to have something going on, and I’m very excited to meet them.
Cynthia will be an official girlfriend for season 16 of RHOA
Since Cynthia left RHOA after Season 13, the model has been busy expanding her business and booking various scripted roles. “You guys had Cynthia Bailey, the model; You guys should follow Cynthia Bailey, the reality star. “Now you guys will see actress Cynthia Bailey,” she said in July 2022.
Her most recent role is playing Gloria on the Starz show BMF. And 2024 is getting busier. Cynthia will be an official girlfriend of RHOA this season. “I’ve always been open to the idea of coming on and off as a friend. She did that last season. My fans loved it, I loved it,” she said. Bravo has been able to work around my schedule which has allowed me to get to a place that works for me.
“They told me they were interested in me being a full-time friend, and in a more formal capacity this time.”
