Craig Conover teases Southern Charm for Season 10

Over the past 10 seasons, we’ve seen some gradual growth among the socially immature people Southern charm children. Craig Conover He thinks we’ll see a more adult side to The Charmers in Season 10.

“The crazy thing is I started filming when I was 24, and now I’m 36,” Craig said of the upcoming season. “People have watched me grow up through my 20s and 30s, and it’s been an eventful journey.”

In Season 10, viewers will see Shep Rose, who revealed his problem with alcohol in the Season 9 reunion, struggle with sobriety. “That’s going to be a big part of this season, of course,” Craig said. “I think the viewer and us as friends — we’re basically like family — have a lot to look forward to… I don’t think anyone will be let down.”

At the reunion in January, Shep revealed that he was “at a crossroads” after he “passed out” at BravoCon in November 2023. At the time of the reunion, he was not drinking liquor but was still drinking beer (FYI: beer is still alcohol). . ). Meanwhile, Craig has been sober for two years already.

“I’ve been on a similar journey,” Craig told Us Weekly. “I started my business a little before him. I’m glad I can share my experience getting healthier, cleaning up my life, and finding better habits. It’s a journey and you get to see part of that journey.”

It’s a whole new world for Craig and Shep. They learn to be friends without the constant partying.

“Shep was able to come to Nashville with me,” the Pillow Talk author said. “[He saw] the new [Sewing Down South] Shop and [was] Excited with me about it. “I think sharing more of our lives with each other… outside of this party scene is more important now than ever before… It’ll be exciting to see.”

Craig added that he will continue to share his journey because it “shows.” [people] They are not alone in their madness and struggles.

What is Austin up to?

Meanwhile, the third rider, Austin Kroll, is (hopefully) growing up as well. He has a new girlfriend after his breakup with Olivia Flowers in the fall of 2022. The Trop Hope founder is trying to tame his ways and settle down with new flame Audrey Pratt, at least for now.

“I think Austin is about 37 years old,” Craig continued. “He’s exploring the dating world with his girlfriend, and Shep is in his 40s. So maybe our show is about showing him that it’s never too late to find love. I don’t know.”
