But life goes on, and it’s been a while since Summer House was filmed. And Sierra revealed that she’s decided to move on. And just in time for season nine to begin production.
Sierra says the “reboot” is part of “aging in your 20s.”
The nurse-turned-model exclusively revealed to People magazine that she’s ready to “adjust to the circumstances” when she starts filming with her ex again. Especially since, despite being single, she’s dating someone else.
Sierra is being kind to herself about her past decisions. However, she’s also “less inclined” to date the reality TV star again.
“That’s part of being in your 20s, you mess things up and then you start over and figure them out,” she said.
“I keep getting my feelings hurt, so I don’t know,” Prafulpreti said of dating on camera again. “It creates this weird thing of wanting to be more isolated and go back. But in that moment, it’s so much fun, but not all of it is fun.”
Summer House fans have been a real support for Sierra, often sending encouraging messages.
“I have girls in my DMs who say, ‘I can relate to you,’ or, ‘I’ve been through the same thing and you’re not stupid,’” she revealed. “Girls make it worth it through the good, the bad, the good. Girls who message you and support you — oh my god, how can we not choose girls over guys all day long? It’s such an amazing community.”
The Summer House veteran cherishes the supportive messages from older women in particular, those who offer a little perspective.
“I love getting messages from women in their 50s and 40s telling me I’m on the right track and reassuring me that you’re in your 20s and you make mistakes and you figure them out and that this is a very small part of your life compared to the big picture,” Sierra said.
