Celine Dion Shares How It Felt to Return to Paris 2024 Olympics

Celine Dion I felt the power of love from all over the world.

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer — who has been battling stiff person syndrome — took to the stage at the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony to sing Edith Piaf“Love Hymn.” She could not have been happier on the occasion.

“I am honored to perform tonight at the opening ceremony of Paris 2024 and am so excited to be back in one of my favorite cities!” Celine wrote on Instagram on July 26 alongside photos from the evening.

The 56-year-old actress also expressed her admiration for all the Olympic athletes competing in the Games, adding: “I am so happy to celebrate these incredible athletes, with all their stories of sacrifice, determination, pain and perseverance.”

“You have all been focused on achieving your dreams, and whether you get a medal or not, I hope that being here means that your dreams have come true!” she continued. “You should all be proud, we know how hard you have worked to be the best you can be. Stay focused, keep going, my heart goes out to you!”
