The “My Heart Will Go On” singer reflected on the treatments she’s tried amid her battle with stiff person syndrome, including up to 90 milligrams of prescription medications like Valium — which can treat muscle spasms — to help her perform.

“Ninety milligrams of Valium can kill you,” Celine said. Hoda Kotb during the hour-long NBC News special Celine’s story. “You can stop breathing. At some point, my body got used to that when I was 20, 30, 40 years old. [milligrams] Until it rose.”
