Cate Blanchett to play ‘Plad the Fifth’ with Andy Cohen

When unrealistic stars appear on Watch What Happens Live, I’m always amazed. Host Andy Cohen He’s a master at leading his guests through crazy games and even crazier questions. And Andy isn’t afraid to ask the questions you secretly wish he would ask. So when the actresses ask questions like, “Are you ready?” Cate Blanchett When Gina Gershon stopped by the club, Andy asked one of the ladies to plead the Fifth Commandment.

It’s Cate Blanchett’s turn to play the game.

Andy spun a wheel to see if Kate or Gina would play the fifth plea. When Kate realized it was her turn, she covered her face with her hair. She was more than happy to answer some uncomfortable questions again.

At first, Andy asked her, “I read that you were very interested in making Lilith’s wig suitable for your new movie Borderlands. In which of your previous roles did you absolutely hate Lilith’s wig?” She replied, “Um… Cate Blanchett’s role.”

After telling her it was “fierce,” he moved on to the next question. “What’s the biggest movie you’ve ever done that got you paid?” Kate replied. “Oh my God,” she said. Andy interjected. “I suppose…” before pausing. Kate urged him to answer first. “I think it might be Lord of the Rings,” he said.

Kate looked shocked and said, “Are you kidding me? No, no one got paid to do this movie.” As you may recall, Kate played Galadriel, Queen of the Elves, in Peter Jackson’s film. Naturally, Andy ignored the flashing “embarrassing” signs and continued talking. “Did you get a piece of the back?”

“No! That was way before all that. No. Nothing,” she replied. “I wanted to work with the guy who made Braindead. I mean, I got free sandwiches. I got to keep my ears, that’s something. They fed me.” Kate added, “Women don’t get paid as much as you think.”

Then Andy asked his final question: “I’ve worked with almost every major actor in Hollywood: Brad Pitt, Robert Redford, [George] Clooney [Matt] Damon [Alec] Baldwin, [Russell] Crow, [Leonardo] Di Caprio, [Bruce] “Willis, Raf,” Kate joked. “I think you’re envious of your co-star.”

Andy admitted as much before asking, “Which male actor was the most demanding to work with?” But Kate disappointed him. “Oh, I can’t,” she said. “I’ll plead for myself.”
