But one thing is for sure: she has her own opinions and is not afraid to express them. Honestly, Bronwyn is as colorful as her wardrobe, but I’m not sure I like it. I know we shouldn’t always judge a book by its cover, but Bronwyn gives fans too many opportunities not to like her. But for all we know, they might smell like roses by the end of the season.
My first impressions of Bronwyn Newport on RHOSLC
I don’t know what it is with Mormons and short haircuts, but right now, I’m not a fan of them. (I’m looking at you, Whitney Levitt.) I really wanted to like the newbie, but Bronwyn seemed so arrogant from the start. Although I love a Real Housewives star who can think on her feet and applaud, some of her off-the-cuff remarks were petty. But I can’t deny that she is unapologetically herself, especially in her fashion. And I can really appreciate a person who owns their identity.
I’d argue that Bronwyn is just the right amount of delusional that the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City needs. But I still don’t know if it will be my cup of tea. One of my favorite flaws I see in a housewife is delusion. It’s annoying to be around in person but it’s relatively harmless and makes for great television, especially when it comes to Bronwyn.
Bronwyn Newport is not a housewife for one season
I’ll be honest. I didn’t like how she made fun of her husband about his gout. I actually felt bad for him. The man is 26 years older than her. Of course, there will be some diseases. It bothered me that she made his ordeal with the king’s illness so trivial because it’s not just about drinking too much wine. It has to do with his genetics too. If I were Bronwyn’s husband, I would be ashamed that my husband made fun of me, all in the name of reality TV. But it attracted viewers. The woman is an enigma because she gets a pass to spend money frivolously in a way that a lot of other influential people don’t.
However, she must have some financial standing if Lisa is sticking with it. Bronwyn is no one-trick pony. She worked hard to achieve her success and lived a wonderful life. Fans soon learned that she was expelled from Brigham Young University because she became pregnant when she was 19 years old. She is mostly an open book regarding her love of fashion, her marriage to her older, wealthier husband, and her passion for philanthropy. So, as a star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn could add a lot to the series. I’m not convinced we’ve even broken the tip of the iceberg with it.
Bronwyn Newport is on women’s radars
I’d be remiss if I didn’t also point out that Bronwyn is on the casting radar. Not only are fans on the fence about B, but so are the other housewives. Bronwyn is clearly a tough guy to beat for the ladies as well, as they almost seem to pester her in the first few episodes. However, Bronwyn isn’t having it and actually throws Lisa under the bus to make a point. Although Heather Jay noted that Bronwyn needed to “get her words in order,” the newcomer saw the situation differently. I made sure to point out that both Lisa and Heather were also making suspicious remarks while in the car.
Heather was the most outspoken of the newcomers, saying: “When Whitney said she loved her and was so supportive, I thought: Either I’m reading her wrong or she’s playing both sides.” But as fans know. , a lot can change in one season, so viewers will have to keep watching to see if Bronwyn will redeem herself and prove that she is the one stirring up destiny.
